Our History
Al Asala is a family run business which started off as a small toys and bicycles shop in 1994 based out of Fujeirah, U.A.E.
As time went by, the business progressed and it was clear that bicycles required more focus from the company as it was a lucrative & growing market in the region.
In 2001, Al Asala Bicycles Trading was formed & the focus of the business shifted towards bicycles in Dubai’s main wholesale market hub. Using contacts and experience from the previous venture, we started trading in the wholesale market for bicycles and spare parts.
Today, Al Asala is one of the very few bicycle and spare parts vendors in the U.A.E.
The company made its name in the market due to its great customer relations and prompt delivery of products. Soon after, the company took an opportunity and branched out in Dubai in 2020 with a dedicated flagship retail store focused on branded bicycles.

Our Target
At Al Asala, we hope to form strategic partnerships with more branded e-bike suppliers that will propel the promotion of greener modes of transportation.
According to government statistics at the end of 2020, dedicated bicycle lanes inside Dubai alone stand at 425kms, and are expected to reach 668kms by the end of 2021.
With people being more environmentally friendly, E-bikes are also seeing a slow but steady rise in demand especially with the option of folding bikes, which makes it convenient for commuters to store their bicycles at home or work.
Few folding bikes brands made their presence in the UAE after seeing this positive trend in the region, & we want to take this opportunity to introduce higher-end folded bikes & e-bikes in the region and use our knowledge of the market along with our current customers.
